WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING?
QUESTIONS? WE GOT YOU!
The most obvious sign that it’s time for a replacement hot tub cover is when the foam of your old cover gets heavier as time goes on. The small air spaces in the cover’s foam can eventually fill with moisture due to steam from the tub and becomes waterlogged. If your old hot tub cover is getting too heavy, and becomes a struggle to lift (even with a cover lifter you’ll feel the difference), it is time for a new cover.
Cleaning your hot tub cover is an important part of spa maintenance. A little bit of routine maintenance can help prolong the life of your hot tub cover. The vinyl should be cleaned with a mild, soapy solution rather than a detergent, as harsh cleaning products can actually remove some of the top coat off the vinyl.
Wipe the vinyl down a couple of times per month, or as needed. The inside of the zipper area should also be cleaned (at least twice a year), as this is a perfect hiding place for mildew to form over time. While you’re at it, consider replacing your spa filter (or at least having an extra one on hand).
Each hot tub cover is custom-made to your hot tub’s measurements; therefore, we don’t keep covers in stock, as they are made-to-order.
Many hot tubs are standard shapes.
However; we always make sure to get it right the first time by coming to you for an on-site review and measure your hot tub ourselves. Sometimes this allows you to choose the shape, colour, and more when you order a custom cover!
If your hot tub or spa is an irregular shape, contact us.
We have cover templates for many models of hot tubs.
You can unzip the cover in the fold area and pull the foam cores out and flip them over and place them back into the vinyl jacket. Make sure that there are no tears in the poly when replacing the cores back into the vinyl. This will eliminate the puddle. If the foam is broken this is not recommended. Contact us for replacement foam cores.
If this happens, usually there has been some deterioration to the Black Poly used to seal the Foam cores. This happens when a rip or tear has made the foam exposed to the water and chemicals. This can also be caused by a breakdown in the poly due to an over abundance of chemicals in the water. Leaving the cover off for 30 minutes after shocking the water is recommended.
